LB-2968 was last posted here by charlespoet in July ‘05. jokerman.org described it as, “not much above 17k; same recording as Fendert [LB-1841] and Southside Butcher [LB-1536] versions based on clapping and talking at begin of Its Alright Ma; this one is warmer than Fendert or Southside Butchers which seem harsher in comparison; same annoying crowd as noted on previous version.”

    Hi Mat/all

Well I’m a big fan of indexing boots etc, and generally i find the LB series quite helpful — BUT here’s the thing, my archive copy is ‘Legendary Taper D’ from the master and transferred by JT Dec 2011. There is no ‘LB’ number in info file, no artwork and doesn’t appear to match up with any of the multitude of ref Nos in the notes here????

    Decent show if memory serves

    Anybody?

  2. DylanDave Says:

Right, think mine is this one (LB-9859)

    http://jokerman.org.uk/lb/detail/LB-09859.html

Think that means it’s the same thing!?

    Nonsense LOL

    Anybody??

  3. Grant Says:

Hm…. I have a version of this labeled Cologne 6.16.84 (Taper LTD) that is very good - but I’m not sure if that’s the same one as this.

  4. Mat Brewster Says:

I was wondering what it would take to get you guys commenting again. Haven’t heard a peep in weeks. Just needed to post a mysterious source.

I have no further info that what got posted.

  5. DylanDave Says:

Grant, that’s as mine, LTD is ‘Legendary Taper D’
On reflection I think it must be an alt source as the rec eqipment is given for our copies and here it is ‘unknown’. I refuse to read any more however. I don’t understand the notes here or the notes on any of the Lossless Bob (LB) postings, however they appear to suggest quality of recs are approx equal ‘B+’

if you do pull it down and compare, pl post something here - my dl queue is out of control and growing!

  6. DylanDave Says:

ps, Mat sorry cheers for the post, and for the ‘87 post too, didn’t have that one in lossless.
Hope all is well with you

  • New Repost Policy: With the near constant flux and changes being made by the main file hosting sites I no longer feel any show that I post will be around permanently. Because of this I will no longer be reposting any old show. Once it is gone, it is gone. I am terribly sorry about this, but my time is limited and I simply cannot spend all of it reposting shows.
