Two Things:

1. The depths of my nerdity know no end. The other day I meet a guy and we’re chatting about music and he mentions he digs the blues. I have very limited knowledge of the blues but we hit the big names a bit - BB King, Robert Johnson, etc and my mind starts thinking of the blues boots I own. My collections is very limited but I tell the guy I’ve got a couple of shows I’ll give him. Then I go home and start torrenting every blues artist I can think of (and a few more Google tells me about.) Next time I see the guy I excitedly tell him about the shows I’ve got for him trying not to sound like the freak I am. The poor sap never knew what got into him when we started talking music.

You all know exactly what you’ve gotten into and now you are gonna get a bunch of blues boots over the next few weeks.

2. I’m changing my reupload policy again. From this point forward I am not reuploading anything. I hate to say that but I’m so far behind and this ridiculous internet just doesn’t make me want to catch up. My apologies to anyone who has made a request and had me promise to do it. I just can’t concentrate on old shows, I’ve got to move continually forward or this thing is gonna die. I may revisit the idea sometimes in the future but for now once a show is gone it stays gone.

I understand your “no old re-ups” policy.

You’ve only got so many hours in a day…

We can just look forward to the new stuff that floats your boat … like the blues!

Mat, not a thing wrong with new d/l over re-up…absolutely nothing.
Coincidence…maybe…I was watching The Dead video of encores New Year’s Show 1982 In Oakland this afternoon…Tower of Power horn section and a ripping Etta James. Must see stuff.
Your investment in the blues sounds similar to mine. I’ve seen some ‘names’ and I purchses some cds but my knowledge is narrow. Looking forward to what you have in store.
As always…thanks for the gift that keeps on giving Mat.
    Peace,
    Ken

  3. Mat Brewster Says:

Thanks folks. I do hate that I have to make that policy as I have always tried to fill all requests and make this a very user friendly site. But man, I just can’t keep reupping all the time. I really don’t have the time for it with all the bandwidth issues.

Yea, I dig the blues I know but I dont know that much. Really looking forward to discovering these new blues shows as I share them.

  • New Repost Policy: With the near constant flux and changes being made by the main file hosting sites I no longer feel any show that I post will be around permanently. Because of this I will no longer be reposting any old show. Once it is gone, it is gone. I am terribly sorry about this, but my time is limited and I simply cannot spend all of it reposting shows.
