*The introduction is edited out. It’s only 1 minute offically released music played from a reel at the beginning of the show.

I know I know, Billy Joel right? Really, I mean, do I want my street cred all but lost? But you know what? This is a good show. He’s still a bit cheezy, but the playing is good, and the energy is a lot of fun, and the sound is great. And come on, just try to tell me you don’t sing along when “Piano Man” comes on!

What’s the problem? Since when is ’street cred’ at risk by liking Billy Joel? Who makes the rules? You - or some credmeisters in their parent’s basement? Just enjoy the good stuff, man, and stop worrying about your ‘cred’. Billy Joel is a great songwriter and musician. ……who cares about anything else?

  2. Mat Brewster Says:

I don’t really care, I was just kidding around. Billy Joel isn’t exactly hip, and so I was just playing with that. The shows really good, which is why I posted it.

  3. Terry M Says:

Hip - Shmip. Is Beethoven hip? Gershwin? Sinatra? The Beatles? Who decides these things? ‘Hip’ is a false god - like ‘cool’ or ‘cutting edge’. GOOD is never out of style. No matter what anyone says. And you happen to have good taste in music.

  4. Andy Says:

Billy Joel had a lot of great songs. The sound is great as well.

  5. John Brereton, England Says:

Absolutely brilliant. I also love the guitars. This is now one of my favourite live concerts.

  6. Mordalo Says:

If you ever feel generous, and feel like reposting anything, please let it be this concert.

  • New Repost Policy: With the near constant flux and changes being made by the main file hosting sites I no longer feel any show that I post will be around permanently. Because of this I will no longer be reposting any old show. Once it is gone, it is gone. I am terribly sorry about this, but my time is limited and I simply cannot spend all of it reposting shows.
